s Harry Potter and The Half Blood prince is the sixth book written by J.K Rowling. It was published on July 6th, 2005. In the first 24 hours of this book being released, it sold over 9 million copies. Which had broke the record for most copies of a book sold in 24 hours. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince won several awards and honours including the Best British Book of the Year award. Reviews of this book say, despite the storyline is alot more depressing and dark, it also containmore humour then the previous novels. Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince the movie came out on July 15th, 2009. In this book Harry is again returned to Hogwarts. Trouble starts after Harry finds a book belonging to "The Half Blood Prince" and Dumbledore trusts, and asks favours from Harry to unlock an important memory in a Professer. The end of this novel is hugely important!
